For this XXL volume, CAGE brings to Bologna a very special show: MAMA TOLD YA SHOWCASE.
Label founded in 2019 by Anetha, a French DJ and producer who has become the leader of the new techno generation, it was created with the mission of giving emerging artists a voice, creating new connections and giving them the chance to put themselves on the map.
A year later, the agency Mama Loves Ya was created, to complete the path already started by the label and help emerging artists to grow and focus on what matters.
Anetha, together with the structure she built, perfectly represents the most futuristic part of the current techno scene, combining groovy, trance and experimental rhythms.

UFO95, sound engineer and devotee of the 90s IDM scene, jungle and hypnotic rhythms;
Mac Declos, eclectic artist with an unpredictable fast-paced sound that oscillates between body and mind, without losing the groove;
VEL, a.k.a. Jennifer Parienté, of Moroccan origin and characterised by a fast-paced but structured techno sound, powerful but graceful, that challenges the limits of genres by hitting hard.
UFO95, sound engineer and devotee of the 90s IDM scene, jungle and hypnotic rhythms;
Mac Declos, eclectic artist with an unpredictable fast-paced sound that oscillates between body and mind, without losing the groove;

A FRENCH ARTIST, DJ, PRODUCER,LABEL MANAGER AND TRAINED ARCHITECT.
Leading figure of the new generation of French DJs, Anetha is inspired by futuristic techno, trance and experimental.
For ten years now, she rules – playing “hightextured” tracks with groovy rythms. Firmly, with kindness, she always delivers abundant, compelling sets to the crowd, with apowerful crowning selection. Production wise, Anetha has released more than 30 tracks: one EP on Work Them Records (2015), two eps on Blocaus
Series (2016 & 2018), the first imprint she had co-founded with her collective to develop the French local scene.
She also released her « Acid Train » banger on Anagram in 2017 and a split EP on Hector Oaks’ label in 2018. Glorious anthems.
THE LABEL: TALENT RELEASING TALENTS
In 2019, Anetha launched a new audacious label called Mama told ya, where she seeks to push boundaries, produce collaborative tracks & give a voice to emerging
artists.
The label already dropped more than 80 fierce tracks through 9 unique releases involving more than 40 outstanding artists – including two compilations on which Anetha has gifted us with the commanding «Free Britney» in 2021 and her king-sized dancefloor hit «How would they know» this year.

In 2020, Anetha launched her new project Mama loves ya, a family that helps emergent artists grow and focus on what matters – music, while working on sustainability.
As much as possible,
Anetha uses her voice to help raising awareness about ecology and
environmental impact, especially in the electronic music scene.
As much as possible, she shares her experience, knowledge and artistry with younger generations.
She now tours for showcases in Europe and more with every artists from the agency.

In search of unknown sounds, UFO95 travels through different worlds and different eras.
He finds his inspiration in the techno scene from the 90s or even the IDM scene, such as Aphex Twin.
He also draws from the jungle and experimental scenes to propel a hypnotic, alienating and decidedly unique sound.
Young UFO95 learned to play several
instruments.
He chose to move towards
music through sound engineering.
First contact : he was then abducted by electronic music and, self-taught.
Since 2020, our Unidentified Fabulous
Object of music fired up strong.
After his first LP «Popularity is overrated» on Mama Told Ya label, he releases a second opus on it « Use your difference to make the difference » in a cosmic collaboration with Anetha.
He recently appears on Nina Kraviz’s label Trip, on « All his decision » compilation. You can found him on others label as Planet X.

Enrolled into the groove with a blues guitarist father and a singer/dancer mother,
Mac bathes in the musical cosmos very
young, dipped in a home of rhythm and
choreography.
He graduated in dance
and pursued contemporary dance at the
Centre Chorégraphique National of Roubaix. The versatile virtuoso also proved himself in hip hop dance battle but soon discovered the holy platines to practice his waltz.
From hip hop to house music, there is one, two step : a controller has been bought, Mac Declos is born.
At only 19, the genius Mac won two musical springboards with the opportunity to play big at Nördik Impakt Festival and Astropolis Festival among Laurent Garnier or Maceo Plex.
Relentless producer, a true music addict, Mac Declos is determined to gain from & with friends.
As he says «Alone you goin’ fast, together
you goin’ further», he looks up to his lads
such as François X, Kuss or Lacchesi with
who he already produced numerous collabs. Moreover, his hotty edit of «Give It To
Me» with Lacchesi exploded Soundcloud
counters with 2,6 millions streams.

When she left Rabat, her hometown, at 18 years old for Lyon, Jennifer studied to become an engineer.
Yet, one particular night shook her path
up: she met techno music for the first time at Le Sucre and it was love at first sight. With these new Doors opened, she passionately nurtured from the club culture she encountered there, up to the point where she allowed herself to ascend,
becoming Vel.
Celar-paced yet textured techno,
powerful yet graceful, Vel’s sound radiates
through throbbing drums she summons fromher memories, celestial whispers and fragile voices: the divine feminine emanates from all the pulsating vibrations she casts. During sets, Vel knows no limits of genre, she’s always eager to hit hard, defying boundaries and BPMs, a true
force of nature.
In a small amount of time, Vel’s journey was
already marked by the friendship and the guidance of artists such as François X, u.r.trax or In Aeternam Vale.
She looks up to them and to other
artists where she also finds inspiration: Bjarki, Anetha, Schacke, Objekt…
The last three years, Vel released 3 EP: «Who by fire» on Unusual Records (2020), «He Took One Cliché» on Nasdat (2021), «Era L» on François X’s label XX LAB (2022).
Vel is also an active member
of Under Rave, u.r.trax’s collective, and Lyon’s techno scene.
Recently, Vel got herself a full-circle moment when she became resident at Le Sucre (Lyon), the club she first discover electronic music few years ago.
She gave a standout live at Nuits Sonores 2021 (Lyon) with In Aeternam Vale. She also played big at HĂ–R (Berlin) this summer.
